Wingspan opens office in Portugal

Wingspan Consulting Pte Ltd is expanding its presence in Europe, starting with an office in Lisbon, Portugal.

This is Wingspan’s third location, in addition to Manila and Singapore, where it is headquartered.

Lisbon is known as Europe’s fastest-growing tech hub and the site of Web Summit, an annual technology conference that brings in investors and entrepreneurs from all over the world. With Portugal’s competitive economic environment and high-quality graduates, Lisbon has attracted a number of tech companies, including Google and Amazon, which have established offices in this bustling city.

“This is a huge deal for Wingspan. Being in Portugal allows us to open the door to companies in North America and Europe who are looking to set up their business process outsourcing in Lisbon and tap the city’s up-and-coming tech talent,” said Wingspan founder Cristina Castaneda.

“As Portugal reopens its economy, it will need a strong workforce as support. From our home base in Manila, we will assist Portuguese hotels and resorts in finding and hiring the best and brightest travel and tourism workers in the Philippines,” said Wingspan managing partner Roberta Maquiling.
